"Korean Agricultural Technologies Transfer Office" will be established in Uzbekistan In accordance with the memorandum of cooperation signed between the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, the "Korean Agricultural Technologies Transfer Office" will be created in the National Center. The goal of this office is to develop technologies that help increase the potential of industrial technologies of smart farms adapted to the environment of Uzbekistan. Modernization of agriculture in Uzbekistan is planned by establishing the center. The cost of this project is 14.0 million dollars. In addition, 5 regional testing farms (Samarkand, Bukhara, Tashkent region, Jizzakh and Fergana) will be established to test these technologies. ⌛In this office, the Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Korea Machinery Industry Association (KOAMI), Technology Development Institute (KIAT), CAMTIC Advanced Mechatronics Technology Institute, and Agro Solution Korea companies will present South Korea's latest generation equipment and technologies to bring to Uzbekistan. The construction of the office under the building of the National Center of Knowledge and Innovations in Agriculture is planned to begin in June 2024. Today, in cooperation with the above organizations, modern greenhouse constructions are being carried out on the land area of 0.15 ha. Also, within the framework of the project, a modern greenhouse was built on an area of 0.20 ha in the Samarkand region, and strawberry seedlings brought from Korea.
